Multispectral

Drone cameras typically see images in the visible range, but industries such as precision ag can benefit from a wider range of image data. Cameras that can see beyond the visible spectrum are called multispectral or NDVI sensors and typically combine isolated bands in the red and blue spectrum with additional sensors that can see into the near-IR spectrum. The difference between visible and near-IR bands allows the creation of a Multispectral or NDVI plot that is valuable for studying overall field health. Insight into specific crops can be precisely calculated based on the particular wavelengths chosen, so for maximum flexibility we recommend renting models from brands such as Parrot or MicaSense that provide five filtered bands of pure wavelength data. Rent a drone multispectral sensor for your crop study and precision ag clients so that you can gain new insights into the health, yield potential, and pest status of your land.
