Inspire Drone plus XTR Camera

With every quality that the the Inspire and Drone and XT Camera Combo had, this dynamic duo takes your recording ability to the next level with twice the accuracy of in recording tempertures. Not only can you record in geothermal, but you can see real time temperatures of the areas that you record with twice the accuracy of the Zenmuse XT. Take the temperature of your fireplace, or a house fire from the safety of the street.
The seamless integration of these two products provides several features. One of these features is the Lightbridge video transmission system. The Lightbridge video transmission system provides up to 3.1 miles of HD range. Other integrated features include automated Point of Interest, Course and Home Lock, Follow Me, and the DJI SDK. In conclusion, the Inspire drone plus XT camera is a great combination.

Zenmuse XTR

DJI has unrivaled expertise in gimbal technology and image transmission. FLIR is the industry leader in thermal imaging technology. Together, DJI and FLIR created the Zenmuse XT. The XT is the ultimate solution for rapid and reliable aerial thermal imaging. Capture data faster with precision and then save for later analysis.

Integrated Thermal Camera

FLIR developed the camera on the DJI Zenmuse XT. It provides high-sensitivity (50mK) thermal imaging at 640/30 fps or 336/30 fps depending on the camera model. The high sensitivity allows for accurate temperature measurements, which are ideal for analytics. The XT is stabilized and controlled by a custom DJI gimbal. This provides smooth clear imagery and 360 degrees of seamless rotational movement.

Precision Full Screen Temperature Measurement

The Zenmuse XTR Advanced Radiometry camera provides twice the temperature measurement accuracy of the standard Zenmuse XTR. Additionally, the Zenmuse XTR Advanced Radiometry has new analysis and recording functions. Tap any point in an on-screen image to view the temperature of that point. You can also select an area to measure the average, highest and lowest temperatures. You will also be able to see their location.
 
Calibrating the camera will increase temperature measurement and precision even more. Calibrate by setting external parameters including background temperature, scene emissivity and more. Photos captured in the TIFF format record the temperature of each pixel. This data capture allows for further processing and analysis.
 
You also have the ability to set a temperature alert threshold. The XTR sensors will look for the temperature you set. When detected, the temperature alert threshold activates. This capability could simplify and speed up search and rescue and inspection activities.

Applications

See the unseen. By making subtle differences in temperature visible, FLIR cameras reveal details invisible to the naked eye. This new view on the world can reveal damaged equipment or buildings. It can also reveal the location of lost people and much more.

Image Enhancement Software

To ensure the greatest definition for capturing information, infra-red imagery requires optimization. The Zenmuse XT features a suite of image enhancements designed by FLIR. These enhancements include:
  • Digital Detail Enhancement™ (DDE)
  • Smart Scene Optimization™ (SSO), which enhances extremes in bi-modal scenes
  • Active Contrast Enhancement™ (ACE) that adjusts scene contrast relative to its temperature difference
  • Information Based HEQ™ (IBHEQ), which compresses complex image data to create the best quality image

Fingertip Control

You can control the Zenmuse XT completely through the DJI GO app. The DJI GO app provides a real-time, low latency view of what the camera sees. It also provides instant access to core camera functions including:
  • Spot metering, temperature measurement at the mid-point
  • Digital zoom
  • Single or interval shooting modes
  • Photo, video preview and download
  • Take photos while recording video
  • Various camera settings and parameters including:
    • Palette, also referred to as Look-up Table (LUT)

Sleek Design

The Inspire 1 has a beautiful aerodynamic design with carbon fiber arms. As a result, you are able to move through the air as the arms transform and easily move out of the camera’s way. This gives you a full 360⁰ unobstructed view enabling you to capture shots independent of the direction you are flying.
 
The new 13 inch quick release rotors also have a sleek design. Built with the unique DJI “Z-Blade” and reinforced with a new carbon fiber compound material, you can count on excellent performance and stability.
 
Brushless motors pioneered by DJI are now the standard in the multirotor industry. But, the Inspire 1 takes the next step in brushless development by integrating curved magnets that fit flush around the edge of each motor. These magnets are more difficult to produce, but are worth it because they increase efficiency.
 
The Inspire 1 also has a single wire design. This means instead of several strands of copper, there is one single dense strand. As a result, there is less wasted space between wires and more copper within each motor. Thus providing more power and less resistance. A centrifugal pump increases airflow inside the wires getting rid of heat faster and increasing the life of the motors.

New ECS

The revolutionary Electronic Speed Controllers (ESC) with sinusoidal drive replaces the square wave drive of traditional ESCs redefining the whole drive system. The patented algorithm in the ESCs is customized for the Inspire 1 which offers features such as closed loop torque control and distinct functional redundancy with high efficiency and reliability.

Intelligent Power Management System

The Inspire 1 comes integrated with an intelligent battery that is so smart, it pretty much manages itself.
 
When in flight, it shows your remaining battery power, so you know how long you can continue flying. Advanced algorithms look at the distance you have flown and estimated time to return to home. With that calculation it tells you when it is time to fly back to a safe return.
 
The battery gives several reports. Along with reporting the voltage of each cell, it also reports the total lifetime charges and discharges. This gives you a view of the health and battery status.

Positioning

As it flies, an intelligent GLONASS + GPS system updates and records the position of your Inspire 1. The dual positioning system enables higher precision and quicker satellite acquisition. Because of this, you are able to see where your Inspire 1 is on the live map and give it a point to hover at.

Main Controller

The main controller is the “brain” of the entire system. The controller receives thousands of bits of data every second which translates as you fly. The main controller tells your Inspire 1 what to do. It calculates environmental conditions in real time. It also ensures immediate response from your aircraft.

IMU

DJI’s advanced Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) handles everything. That means you don’t have to worry about keeping your Inspire 1 stable during flight. The IMU is able to track minuscule changes in tilt and movement allowing the Inspire 1 to compensate and adjust immediately.

Failsafe

When you fly your Inspire 1, you don’t need to worry. If the battery runs low or your remote loses connection, you’re in good hands. This is because the Inspire 1 uses its positioning system and smart flight technology to return back to you.

Hover in Place Without GPS

With the new DJI Vision Positioning System, you can work safely even when GPS satellites are out reach. This system enables you to take off and land at the press of a button and keep steady indoors.
